Reply to Camps vs. Tutorials

Thanks for leaving a post. I think your idea is a great one. It would not be that hard of a service to start either. I think that what you are saying would be beneficial to the player. Something else to think about would be having a video made for the player not only explaining what the athlete was doing wrong, but also showing him the right ways of doing it.

Everything going in to internet direction

Wikinomics is an article about how wikipedia is taking over. I think that things that used to be around are going to start to disappear. Everything is online now. How far will this go? Will college eventually be exclusively online? This also goes along with sports; there are more and more resources that are becoming available online. From talking about sports to learning about sports. Anything can be found online.

Camps vs. Online tutorials

I just have this idea. I know that there are many camps for volleyball, and many coaching clinics that teach coaches and players how to play and coach better. Could there ever be online volleyball tutorials, and could they compete with universities and other organizations that are running camps. I know that there are many videos out there that show coaches good drills to use in practice, but are there videos and online resources that teach the players better technique and skills. I could see how a player could use a video that is aimed for a coach to make practice better, but I have never really heard of a video or website that is directed toward and individual player.
